Realms and account data may be wiped without notice while the game is in
active testing (see the banner on every page). This policy describes what
is collected and how it's used while your data exists — it doesn't
promise permanence.
What we collect
Account: the name and email address you register with, and a
hashed (never plaintext) password.
Gameplay: everything you do inside a realm — buildings, troops,
spells cast, thief actions, portals, chosen theme — plus whatever you type into
an empire's name/MOTD/banner-image URL or the feedback board.
Technical: IP address and user-agent string, attached to your
login session, used only for rate-limiting abuse (e.g. brute-force login
attempts) and basic server logs.
What we don't do
No ads, no ad trackers, no selling or sharing data with third parties.
No payments — Ambar is free and non-commercial (a fan reconstruction built for
portfolio/educational purposes).
Analytics
We use Google Analytics (GA4) to see which pages get used — nothing more; no ads
run on this site. It only loads after you accept the cookie banner shown on your
first visit; declining (or ignoring it) means Google Analytics never runs.
Who processes it
The app itself runs on our own hosting infrastructure (Hostinger). Google
processes analytics data if and when you accept the cookie banner.
Your account, deleted or wiped
There's no self-service account deletion in the game UI yet — email the contact
below and it'll be removed by hand. Separately, a beta-wide wipe (all accounts, all
realms) may happen without individual notice; the in-app banner is the standing
notice for that.
